River Road Cabin Remodel

The original River Road Cabin was built my great grandfather in the 1920’s and he would ride the train up from Colfax and would drop him off in the back yard. It was one of the original cabins buitl along the Truckee River prior to the highway 89 development. It was always just a summer cabin until 2015 when my Dad and I completed a full remodel which included new windows & doors, insulation, electrical wiring and finishes. The orginal fireplace remains in use today as the only heating source staying true to the rugud mountain lifestyle it takes to sustain long sierra winters.
